Using Lighthaven
Which phones does Lighthaven run on?
Lighthaven is made for iPhone and Android phones. On Android it needs a 64-bit device, which covers almost every phone sold in recent years.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Lighthaven edits your photos on your device. Originals are copied into the app library on your phone so they are always available, and nothing is sent to our servers.
Do my edits change the original photo?
Never. Edits are stored as instructions alongside the photo, so you can reset, step back through history or keep several versions. Export creates a new file.
Can I edit raw files?
Yes. Import raw files from your camera or phone and Lighthaven develops them with the full engine, so you get more room in the highlights and shadows than a JPEG.
How do I import a lot of photos at once?
Tap Add photos in the library and select as many as you like. You can choose a preset and an album first, and they are applied to every photo you add.
How do I copy my edit to other photos?
In the editor menu, choose Copy settings. Then select the other photos in the library and tap Paste settings, or paste from the editor menu on each photo.
How do I export a photo?
Open the editor menu and tap Export. Choose JPEG or PNG, the size and quality, and whether to include metadata, then save to Photos or share.
Does Lighthaven work offline?
Yes. Editing, the library and export all work without a connection. You only need to be online to subscribe or restore a purchase.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting a photo from the library moves it to Recently deleted, where you can remove it for good. Uninstalling the app removes the whole library from your phone. To ask us to delete anything we hold, email lighthaven@aphvn.com.
Subscriptions
Is Lighthaven really free?
Yes. The core editor, library, presets, crop, effects and export are free with no watermark and no time limit. Lighthaven Pro is optional.
What does Lighthaven Pro unlock?
Masks (sky, subject, background, brush, linear and radial), tone curves, colour grading, the colour mixer with point colour, and healing.
How much does Pro cost?
Lighthaven Pro is $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year on the web. In the iOS and Android apps the App Store or Google Play shows the price in your local currency before you subscribe.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
I changed phone. How do I get Pro back?
Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account, open the paywall in Lighthaven and tap Restore. Your subscription is restored at no cost.
