Terms of use

Agreement

Lighthaven is provided by Aphvn ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Lighthaven you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you downloaded Lighthaven from the App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Lighthaven on devices you own or control, for personal or professional photo editing. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

Your photos

Your photos and the edits you make are yours. Lighthaven processes them on your device and we claim no rights in them. You are responsible for having the rights to the photos you edit and share, and for keeping your own backups. Because your library lives on your phone, uninstalling the app or losing your device can remove it.

Lighthaven Pro

The core editor is free. Lighthaven Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that unlocks masks, tone curves, colour grading, the colour mixer and healing. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

We may change prices or the features in Pro. Price changes apply from your next renewal, and Apple or Google will tell you as required.

Acceptable use

Do not use Lighthaven to break the law, to infringe anyone else's rights, or to create or share content that is unlawful, abusive or exploits anyone. Do not try to interfere with the app, our services or other users.

Changes and availability

We work hard to keep Lighthaven reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or discontinue features. If we stop offering Pro, we will give reasonable notice.

Disclaimer and liability

Lighthaven is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of photos or data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Lighthaven Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Lighthaven at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
